about meg

Hi, I’m Meg (they/them)! I’m a white, autistic, highly sensitive, queer, and gender non-conforming counselor and yoga teacher located in Boulder, CO.

I love working with fellow queer, trans, and neurodivergent humans. My own healing path has been deeply intertwined with my identities, which fuels my passion and commitment to providing affirming care to those with embodied differences. I enjoy working with folks of all intersections of identity, including identities I don’t hold. I strive to be a counselor who acknowledges and embraces the unique lived experience of every client.

My work in this life is to guide others toward a safe, affirming, and aligned expression of their innermost Self. I am not here to be prescriptive about what that looks like, just as I am not here to tell others who they are. I don’t have those answers. What I do have is a trust that we each carry innate wisdom and wholeness, and a trust in my ability to help others reveal those qualities within themselves.

On a more personal, human level, I grew up in rural northern Minnesota, and I moved to Colorado in 2021. I love to craft, write, and express myself. I love TTRPGs and cozy video games. My food needs to be crunchy. I love seeing live music and traveling. I’m sensitive to the heat outdoors and the cold indoors. I play the guitar. I have an amazing little family with my partner, our dog, and our cat. I bring a blend of sensitivity, softness, creativity, and honesty to all of life. Overall, I’m a silly, awkward, autistic human who still experiences burnout sometimes and makes mistakes pretty damn regularly.

disclosure & gratitude

I am a devoted student of the Sri Vidya tradition of yoga, as taught by Sri Swami Rama and Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, however, I welcome clients of all religious, spiritual, ethical, and/or philosophical worldviews (or lack thereof). While I only bring yoga directly into my clinical work when it aligns with a client’s worldview, I do carry the following beliefs with me at all times and in all work I do: we are all interconnected, we are all whole, and we all have gifts to offer our world.

I offer my deepest gratitude to Life herself, Earth herself, and to the teachers who’ve guided me: Ben Vincent, Rolf Solvik, Judy Moulton, Stacy Sheridan, Riese Rose, and the many others I hold closely in my heart.
